Week 65 and the rain came down and the floods came up, the house on the rock stood still.

This week, has been cloudy and rainy and wonderful all week. I'm pretty sure winter is on its way and I know Heavenly Father loves his missionaries in Paraguay who've been melting all of January. Haha and its fumy, because the sister who shared the spiritual thought for our ward night shared the story that one can find in 3Nephi 14: 24-27 as well as in Matthew 7:24-27 when Christ shared the parable of the wise man and the foolish man who built their houses and then it rained. And for those who don't remember, or aren't familiar, I'll quote it below. And well its funny, because when the activity ended, the Hermana made me go sing it for the ward in English and they sang it in Spanish, but I'm not a good singer, and I couldn't remember how the song goes, so it didn't turn out too exciting haha. But anyway, that was the highlight of my week. singing with motions to the primary song "The Wise Man and the Foolish Man". haha

Also this week I learned how to make  dulce de guayaba! That's whats in the pot in stirring.

NOTE:  Dulce de guayaba is Guava jam.  It's sweet and yummy, thick and dark red.

Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely week and I'm sorry my email is so short, I'll do my best next week to write more.

24 ¶Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto wise man, which built his house upon rock:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon rock.26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that houseand it felland great was the fall of it.
