Week 15 and PICTURES!

Well what do you know, its been a week already!?

Gosh darn it the days just fly by and I have no idea what I do every day. Well I do, but all my days are all blurred together in the walking and the Spanish and I'm not really sure who's who sometimes haha. but its been a good week. I was kind of nervous because my comp wanted to do a division with the young women in the ward, and I was really not sure I'd be able to do all the missionarying alone, but I made it and we had a good lesson with a less active sister in our ward and I didn't say too much in English. I've taken to laughing at myself, because I mess up a lot and if everybody else is going to look at me like ok hna... may as well accept that I didn't make it to fluent in 3 months. but you know, we can't have every thing. but one day I'll have the cake and eat it too. ;]

I guess what I'd have to say this week is even if the words fall out of your mouth all crazy and broken and out of order say them anyway, because its better to say what's in your mind then to let the opportunity to share pass you by, and laugh when you mess up, because there isn't really much you can do anyway.

But anywho, I love you guys and hope you have a lovely week! and yea!

I have no captions - We will all have to wonder for the next 14 months.

Week 14, Living in Piro'y

Hello people of earth and ocean, another week has passed and I can't believe I've been here for soooooooooo long already! Time really is flying.

Thinking about time, and remembering how much I wanted to just fly through all the waiting around in my life, I came to the conclusion that time goes by really fast, but no matter how fast or slow it is going we HAVE to live every moment of our lives. We can't fast forward or pause the time we have, and especially on my mission I can feel my time slipping away. I have 13 months and 2 weeks left it's crazy! So, the point is, don't sit around waiting for a new area, new people to talk to, a new job, a new something. Work with what you have, because you're going to leave the area you have and the chance you have to teach the people you are with is running out. So, open your mouth, embrace the time and the place you have and thank our Heavenly Father for all that He has given us.

I've been in Piro'y for one week now, and there is so much fun stuff here and our ward is great. We've had youth going out with us every day. My companion is from Honduras, and she is super excited to both help me with Spanish and to learn English, so we have been having fun learning words and teaching each other simple grammar.

We also have several progressing investigators, so were pretty excited to be working here with so much potential in this ENORMOUS AREA. we have been walking all over a huge chunk of land full of grass and dirt and tiny shack houses. It's beautiful and amazing. I'm seriously in heaven. Next week I'm going to bring my camera so I can send pictures of the amazing view some of these people have out their windows.

Well this is all I've got to say really. I love you all and thanks you for all the support you guys give me!

Week 13 (in Paraguay) - Training is Over!!!

2/10/14
TRAINING IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm an official full on missionary now, graduated from my pampers as my mission mom Hermana Speirs says - haha. It's been a long 3 months but I can't believe its already over. It went by sooooo fast!

I found out about transfers today, and I'm going to an area called Piriy (pee-ree-oo) and I'll be opening the area with the Hermana Betancurth. She came to the MTC 4 weeks after me, and we got to Paraguay together. so it should be fun. We both just finished training. I'm excited to have the chance to work on my Spanish with her, because I'm not sure if she speaks much English.

Note:  No photos again this week.  She has a few on her camera, but doesn't like to carry it with her.
