Week 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've officially made it 40 weeks in Paraguay! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sooooo much time has already passed! But anyway, enough of that. I have a crazy story to tell you all today.

So, ok, we live in an apartment on the second floor, and we have an open roof that we can go up and walk on and do what ever. And well yea, anyway, we made blondies (white brownies) last night and decided to eat them on the roof.  So we rushed up there the 4 of us, and you all should know it had been a windy day. Also, some of the sisters seem to think we have a ghost or two. I'm not convinced. Anyway, we have this fancy door that only opens with a key whether its locked or not, and well we left it open, and went up to the roof. When a big gust of wind went through the open window in our house and slammed our self locking door with us trapped on the roof 10 minutes till bed time all in our pjs - haha and Hermana A started freaking out and Hermana W thought it was the funniest thing ever, and I just decided to go look and see if there were keys in the door, and Hermana S started praying. So anyway, we had a few minutes of panic when Hermana W saw first that we had forgotten our keys in the door earlier that night when we got home.Tthank goodness! because being trapped on the roof all night would not have been fun.
We also have a pet mouse...... kind of... and a nice member gave us a mouse trap to try and get rid of it.

And yea, I think that's just about all of my news haha. But anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful week! and know that I love you all and appreciate your emails and letters and all that good stuff!

Week 38!!!!!!!!!!

Well it's that time of day again!

Weee Hermana Minks is gunna send an email and its gunna be full of words! Yay words! So anyway, to start off, we've had a pretty good week, meeting people and all that fun stuff.

I have some good news and some bad news, so i'll start with the bad.

Carlos didn't get confirmed still... but some good news is that he did show up to church, so he's gunna get confirmed for sure next week.

Also more good news, plus a crazy story, we had an investigator in church this Sunday and it was super cool, cuz she's so adorable. But! she's super pregnant and about half way through church she started going into labor... contractions and everything, so we went with her to the bathroom and my companion and I were so seriously afraid that we were going to deliver her baby right there during relief society. Crazy! and then in sacrament she was having contractions every 5-10 minutes and we were really freaking out!  But she made it all 3 hours and then a brother with a car drove us to her house. And that's when we got really worried, cuz she had contractions every 3-5 minutes, and then every 2 minutes, and she wouldn't let us take her to the hospital till her boyfriend got home so he got there in the nick of time, because she was laying on her bed crying with constant contractions when he got there with the taxi and they left us there with the neighbors in their house. Yea. crazy huh? But the good thing is that nobody died or had to deliver babies on bathroom floors and we aren't scared for life just yet haha. So yea. I'm pretty sure Cinthia had her baby yesterday.

But she also told us that she liked the messages at church and felt good, so I bet when she's out of the hospital she´ll go to church again and so that's good. :))
So yea that's how my week has been! I hope you guys had a good week too, and I'll talk to you all again next week. and if she had the baby I'll totes go see her and take pictures so you all can see too. :))

Week 37?...

I may have lost count of the weeks haha.  I'm pretty sure its 37 haha.
So there's been lots of changes! First of all, I'm now in Loma Pytá, which is in Asuncion, second, my companion is Hermana Welch, and she just finished her training, and she is AMAZING!!!!!!! The most adorable sister ever. Then, also exciting news, after 7.5 months, I'm in the same house as Hermana Speirs again an it's soooooooooo weird! We're roomies. so yea. that's fun. Hermana Speirs is with Hermana Arguile and it's so crazy fun. Hermana Speirs, for those who weren't here, or don't remember, was my trainer (my mission mom), and our companions are both from Utah haha. it's fun.
Also, we've had a really awesome week. I'm so excited, because you can literally feel the happiness in our house, its so cool.
It's weird being in a different area, because my old area was HUGE, and in comparison this area is really small. But it's good, it'll help me get used to it faster and be able to lead my way without getting lost.

She smiles. We call her Risas but her name is Chicilina.
